More start-ups were created around Silicon Roundabout last year than in any other region in the UK, said a survey by accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young.
In the area around Old Street roundabout, more than 15,000 new businesses were created in the year to the end of March.
Three years after Cameron’s speech on Silicon Roundabout, the Shoreditch area is thriving and is now home to the likes of Hailo, the taxi-hailing app, Moshi Monsters and Airbnb rival Onefinestay.
And the ecosystem around new business is growing exponentially; networking opportunities abound and there are more designers and consultants on our doorstep than ever before. Perseverance Works is anchored in a landscape of innovation, perhaps now is the time to take advantage of it.
