Perseverance Works played host this week to Linda McCartney’s Veggie Table cookery workshop as First Option Studios opened its doors for National Vegetarian Week.
But with a day left of their workshops, there is still time to get in on the action and attend its final day.
Taking over First Option Studio for nine sessions between Thursday 18th and Saturday 20th May, Linda McCartney is celebrating National Vegetarian Week in style with a series of cooking demonstrations with star Jay McGuiness of The Wanted and Strictly Come Dancing fame.
Strictly star Jay will be joined by an expert veggie chef, with guests being welcomed with drinks and canapes before being invited to gather in the kitchen to learn some of the top veggie tips, as well as getting inspiration from tasty recipes. Attendees will have the opportunity to leave with the knowledge to recreate some of the show-stopping recipes at home that have been created before their very eyes.
Speaking about the event Katy Hughes from Wildcard, a London based public relations and communications agency said: “Linda’s Veggie Table is a celebration of National Vegetarian Week for both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Guests will be able to enjoy canapés and mocktails before heading into our cookery demonstration with star vegetarian, Jay McGuinness. What’s what more, guests can enter our competition to win a money can’t buy Linda MCartney cookbook signed by Paul, Mary and Stella McCartney. What better way to celebrate all things vegetarian?”
If you fancy enjoying a meat-free and vegan-friendly cooking demo, tickets are £10 per session and can be booked on the Eventbrite page.
All proceeds, exclusive of booking fee will go to Hackney Foodbank.
