Zero Emissions Network (ZEN) will be holding an event on November 9th in Old Street to celebrate nearing 1,000 businesses in their network.
Businesses, air quality experts and local authorities will be getting together to celebrate the past year of ZEN, where they will also launch their new website and hear from captivating speakers.
The event will take place at The Trampery, Old Street, and will run from 6pm-10pm and include a number of influential guest speakers including Client Earth, Buzzbike, Clean Air in London and Accenture, as well as ZEN businesses.
Speaking about the event, ZEN Project Officer Selina Talukdar said: “ZEN is currently hitting major milestones with almost 1,000 businesses in the network. The annual networking evening will celebrate success stories and pre-view the website launch.
“There are already 200 people confirmed on the guest list and the first 100 guests will receive goody bags.”
Another key guest speaker will be DriveNow, who will discuss how London’s transport is set to change.
DriveNow is the flexible car sharing service that operates within the North East of London, offering an easy and stylish way to make short trips around this area and further afield. Unlike more traditional car clubs DriveNow allows its members to drive one way, park in resident and pay and display bays, and book cars on demand.
In partnership with Perseverance Works, DriveNow is offering all tenants the chance to register as a lifetime member of its service for free (removing the normal one off £29.00 fee).
The event is free and tickets to can be booked here.
