The Perseverance Works fibre optics tender document has gone out to industry inviting pitches for the provision of direct fibre access and data transport services to tenants at Perseverance Works and Printing House Yard.
Earlier this year, PW drew up a presentation outlining the need for fibre optics provision in Shoreditch – the digital hub of London, with more startups created last year than in any other area of the UK.
We also outlined our support of the Secretary of State’s ambition for super connectivity in the area. Our proposal and presentation was taken seriously by our MP, Meg Hillier, who visited the site and took the matter to a committee.
Pitches will be submitted by close of play on Friday November 22, with a decision on the successful provider reached by mid-December.
